Recent Premieres

We had the opportunity in mid-Februray of this year to write an original composition, "Comin' Home," to feature multi-instrumentalist Steve Wilson on alto saxophone with the Oakland University Jazz Band of Rochester, MI. The entire experience was quite fun and engaging; Steve is not only an exceptional musician and composer in his own right, but a wonderful person and a true pleasure to meet. Noted jazz pedagogue and bassist Miles Brown is the current director of jazz at Oakland University, and he, too, was a sheer delight. Below are both audio and video files displaying the premiere student performance. (This work is currently available for purchase.)
